About
Hi! I'm Amanda, a travel blogger wandering the world — one spreadsheet at time.
My Travel Journey
I’m from California, and I started off my travel journey while working a regular 8-to-5 job. I would take several trips every year, making the most of weekends and vacation days.
That is, until I quit my job in 2025 and moved across the world — to Scotland!
I visited Scotland three times before deciding to move there, and I've become more obsessed by the day.
I'm currently dedicating a full year to exploring this beautiful country.
My Blogging Journey
I started my blog, Wanderful Plans, in 2023 in order to have a space to share all of the on-the-ground research and Type-A planning I do for every trip.
My blog has grown from a few hundred views a month to almost 50,000 views a month in just over two years.
I’ve learned a lot on my blogging journey (and am still learning), but my number one goal remains to tailor my content to help you, the readers, plan your travels.
